The advantages are obvious. First of all, if you use a “double opt-in” autoresponder your prospects must verify their intent to join your list. A good autoresponder will also keep your prospects ISP address and time stamp on file to protect you if the need arises. The most important benefit is the fact that the majority of your prospects will know exactly what they subscribed to – and that they are interested in receiving more info.
This is a far better plan!
