Important info regarding leads

The following message was picked up from our FOL Team Yahoo group that I thought useful to repeat.

I was chatting with Taylor Hoppe today and he made a very interesting point. I noted that the freshest leads that we were getting, the ones that are only a day or two old are getting some of the worst results overall.

He said that he found the same thing to be true back in the Spring when we first began using the GDI invitation, and that the reason is this:The reason we get such a low price is that they are leads being sold multiple times, which is fine, but the problem is that when they are new, they have just opted in and they are being inundated by emails and offers so they delete them all. Anything we send them gets lost.

The best results have come from leads that are about a month old. The people still want to improve their life, still have an interest, but they are no longer getting buried in emails and contact and phone calls. The best results we have gotten from these low cost leads have been after that amount of time.

Here is what I would suggest: Go back to the leads you got about a month ago and try to use them again. Add them to messenger, send a teaser email, invite them to view gdi, invite them to a yahoo group that you have created for opt ins.
