Banner Advertising

Although once popular, banner advertising is not as effective today as it once was. People have pretty much learned to ignore banner ads these days and they are not a highly effective way to promote your business. I generally do not recommend this form of advertising unless you are placing the ads on your own targeted website or exchanging ads with another targeted website.

Automated banner or link exchanges are fairly easy to participate in, but these types of exchanges often don't allow you to pick and choose who you want to trade with. They're rarely effective.
