GDI Inviter
There has been quite a bit of discussion recently in the forum and in our web conference training about using the GDI Invite system. GDI gives us a wonderful invitation system to use in our back-office for sending out invitations AND they do a marvelous job of automatic follow-up with people you have invited. I’ve found it to be a pretty simple system to use and have been plugging in some of my old leads into that system.
You are limited to entering 100 leads per day into the Invite system and that was taking me between 30 minutes to an hour to copy and paste lead info. I quickly discovered it can be tedious cutting-n-pasting people’s names and email addresses into the invitation page. There has to be a BETTER way, and thanks to Robert Petter, he introduced me to a tool called the GDI Inviter - Program written by fellow GDI member Doug Mann.
The Invite Filler is a program that will read from a CSV file (Comma Seperated Values) and fill out the invitation fields programmatically. So, if you have a list of contacts in a CSV formatted file (a format you can save to in MS Excel), then the GDI Invite Filler can really save you a bundle of time and work.
This program is free and has been working great for me. I highly recommend it.
Now, the task that was taking between 30 minutes to an hour is taking about 5 minutes every day. I can now load 100 leads (10 at-a-time) into the Inviter with just a couple mouse clicks.
You can download the program free HERE.

Here’s a comment Derek made in the Yahoo Forum regarding GDI Inviter.

Subject: If you are not in GDI (or don’t know how to build it)
I advocate leading with Follow Our Lead when you are having direct
contact with people so you can say, “This is the team/program, etc.
that is going to help you achieve your goals,” but I think every
person in this group should be in GDI.
Even if you are not yet able to join every business in our package,
you should definitely be in GDI because it is the closest thing to
automation I have seen on the internet in my years of doing business
on here.
You can use GDI’s duplication and then introduce them to the support
we can provide them.
With the new loading tool, every person can get enrollments with
about five minutes per day of using the invitation tool.
It is only $10 per month and can pay for itself very quickly. We
have the .07 leads you can have at cost, but even old leads are
working.
If you are not in GDI, I suggest enrolling. You need to go to your
FOL sponsor’s link. If you need help getting started, let me know
and I will tell you where to find your sponsor’s link (my link if I
am your sponsor), and I will give you simple instructions on how to
get started.
Every person in this group can get regular enrollments in this way.
A monkey could do it.
This does not replace our normal strategies and methods, but when
you can enroll people with a few minutes per day in an automated
way, you should do it.

Here’s some additional comments Derek made on the Yahoo forum…
Subject: Invitations for gdi
It turns out that there is an extra step in the process if you are
getting the .07 leads. The email column is too far to the right on
the .07 leads so when setting up the filler to enter your leads for
you, you don’t have the option of telling it which column is
for “email.”
So here is the fix:
Open the leads using a spread sheet. Move the column with “email”
further to the left, preferrably right next to the first and last
name columns.
Here is the link to the filler:

I got this message from Derek and agree everyone should be using this… and with the .07 leads, you can easily have more than enough people to be contacting…
I received a new batch of the .07 leads tonight. If any of you do not have leads to put into your GDI invitation system, you need some. Every single one of you can build a great business by entering your 100 leads daily in 5 minutes.
People are getting regular enrollments from doing this so you should be doing it every day.
If anyone needs leads for the system or needs instructions on how to load leads quickly into this very effective system, let me know. Email me for leads or instructions.

Here’s a comment John Adams made in the Yahoo Forum regarding GDI Inviter.
http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/FollowOurLead/
I have just enrolled someone in GDI. I used leads from Derek loaded into GDI invite system using the GDI Invite Filler program (nice and quick). I make one change to the standard GDI invite - I replace subject line from “this company is ….” to “an Invitation from John Adams”. This seems to give a better viewing response than the standard line.
I then use the Statistics Information on the Invite page of your Website.ws Members page. When I see someone has viewed on stats table I check who it is and send a short email. Not sure if this latter does much good as get few replies but do sometimes get more views by same person.
My person signed up after this process without any other contact first. Then have followed up with a welcome email.
Hope this is helpful and understandable - please email for any clarification.

… to which German replied…
Hello John,
Great advice. I use a similar strategy. The only difference I use is in the subject line.
I use this: A Special Invitation For %first_name% %last_name%
This personalizes the email in their name and seems to get a better open rate.
Best Regards,

The most basic thing that you can do which any of our members can do is enter leads into the automated GDI marketing system. We discovered about a year ago that entering quality leads into that system would produce real enrollments and business growth. However, until recently, the leads we were using to get results were between 7 and 15 cents which made entering 100 per day very expensive.
However, we now have a lead source that we get for 4.5 cents each and produce a lot of enrollments. I get that price by buying them in bulk, and I turn around and sell them to our team for 3 cents each. However, I want to encourage as many of our members to use it as possible so you can have them this time for 2 cents each. $20 would be a 10 day supply or $40 would be a 20 day supply.
